This is a 2-button orange hand held remote control box with wired 16/4 retractile cord. Curly cord stretches to 20 ft. No plug. Weather proof. Rugged ABS orange plastic. Used on power up/gravity down liftgate power unit. Can be mounted. Raise and lower controls.
Start switches assemblies activate liftgates for power up or power down movement. 4 wire switches are used for power up/power down liftgates. Start switches are generally mounted on an accessible part on the rear frame of the truck. Wiring is either short leads to an internal wiring system or an extended cord reaching the power unit. Most popular is a molded switch that is weather proof made of molded plastic resin.
