APL3000

This is a 3-post insulted metal canister start solenoid with flat mounting base. Positive to excite. Intermittent duty, heavy coil and spring. Generally mounts on the frame. 12 vdc. Replaces Maxon 207041, 223741, 229198, 251880, 260270, 53395, Tommy Gate 967, Waltco 39002122, 70092531, 75089822 model liftgates, and many others. 

Start solenoids transfer the energy to start the electric motor for powering the liftgate. The 3-post start solenoids are generally used for power up/gravity down lift gates.  This solenoid has a flat base to be mounted on the frame.
